Sand Wax Candle Instructions & Safety
1. Pour
Choose a clean, heat-safe container at least 4 inches wide. Pour and level the sand wax, leaving space to prevent overflow or overheating.
2. Insert Wick
Place the cotton wick in the center, with only 1/4 inch sticking out. Be sure the wick is at least 2 inches from the sides and has at least 1 inch of sand wax underneath.
3. Add Fragrance
For a light scent, add 4–6 drops of fragrance oil to the sand wax before lighting. Do not overfill with fragrance oil, it may reduce scent quality or pose a fire risk.
4. Light
Light the wick. Each properly placed wick typically burns up to 12 hours.
5. Refresh Wick
To reuse, pull out the spent wick and melted wax. Cut and reuse the wick or replace with a new one.
Safety Tips
Use only one wick in a 4-inch wide container; larger vessels can support more wicks (up to 3 in a 9" bowl or 6 in a 19" bowl).
Keep wicks centered and away from edges.
Always ensure at least 1 inch of wax below the wick to prevent overheating.
