The Inspiration
Behind Crafted Light
Welcome to our story. We’re so glad you’re here.
Crafted Light Creations was founded on an appreciation for the quiet elegance of illumination. Transforming your space with a gentle glow, a hint of a fragrant memory, and an invitation to slow down, creating a sense of calm, presence, and connection.
Our journey began with the first long dough bowl candle, hand-carved from locally sourced wood. Its warm glow gathered my family and friends around the dining table, creating a sense of ease, connection, and togetherness. That single piece sparked something deeper, a desire to create objects that feel grounding, meaningful, and beautifully lived with.
Inspired by nature, craftsmanship, and the ritual of light, what began as one handcrafted candle has evolved into a thoughtfully curated collection. Each piece celebrates artistry, natural materials, and the subtle magic that light brings to everyday moments.
At the heart of Crafted Light is the blue butterfly, a deeply personal symbol of comfort, transformation, and hope. It honors my mother, who passed away from cancer. During her final days, a nurse gently placed a blanket covered in blue butterflies over her to keep her warm. That simple act of care became a lasting symbol of love, peace, and presence.
Across many cultures, the butterfly represents transformation, renewal, and the soul’s journey symbolizing change, freedom, endurance, and new beginnings. In a time of loss and grief, I found refuge in the warmth of light. Lighting a candle became a quiet ritual of healing and in finding my light, Crafted Light was born.
While our designs remain intentionally timeless and understated, many of our collections are named in Spanish as a personal reflection of heritage, an honoring of language, memory and identity woven gently into the brand.
Every candle is intentionally designed to elevate the ordinary blending refined form, carefully layered fragrance and sustainable, non-toxic ingredients. From hand-poured wax to artisan vessels, each detail reflects a commitment to mindful living, enduring style, and creating spaces that feel like home.
Welcome to Crafted Light Creations where light is not just seen, but felt.
Our Commitment
At Crafted Light Creations, we believe in creating more than just candles—we craft experiences rooted in beauty, integrity, and intention. Every detail matters, from the materials we choose to the hands that shape them. Here's what guides our work:
Commitment to Quality
We use only the finest ingredients to ensure a clean, luxurious burn. Our candles are made with USA-sourced coconut apricot wax, known for its creamy finish and excellent fragrance throw. We pair this with natural cotton wicks and a carefully curated blend of premium fragrance and essential oils to create scents that are both soothing and memorable.
Artisanal Craftsmanship
Each candle is hand-poured in small batches to maintain the highest level of care and consistency. Our signature wood bowls are carved by artisans using locally and sustainably sourced fallen trees from the East Coast, while our glass vessels are chosen for their simple elegance and durability. No two pieces are exactly alike—each is a reflection of the hands and heart that shaped it.
Sustainability & Ethical Sourcing
We are committed to eco-friendly practices and non-toxic ingredients. From using reusable and recyclable packaging to partnering with ethical suppliers, every choice we make honors the environment and supports responsible sourcing. Our wooden bowls are treated with non-toxic fire retardant and sealed with natural oils, making them both safe and sustainable.
Through every flame, we hope to bring warmth, peace, and light into your space—and a sense of connection to something meaningful.
“I love the scent, it fills the room without being overpowering. The burn is incredibly clean with no harsh smell or soot. I feel good using them in my home, around my family, and they’ve truly elevated the atmosphere of every space. These are now my go-to for gifts and self-care alike! ”
